BQE DAY

It all started in 2014, in the dead of winter, when we released our first edition of BQE - a coffee stout named after the artery that connects Brooklyn and Queens. A celebration of the boroughs we lived and worked, we sourced cacao nibs from chocolate makers in Brooklyn and coffee roasted in Queens. Brooklyn Queens Espresso stout was born.

Now in its eleventh year, with 30 variants and vintages behind us, we are excited to announce 2025 BQE with three variants inspired by some of our favorite breweries that are masters of stout and adjunct. This year our three variants are remix collaborations with BOTTLE LOGIC, NORTH PARK, and XUL.
